UNI 101 Final Project
Choose a student organization, non-profit, or independent cause that your group feels passionate about. You will be creating a grant request for this organization and presenting your request in class. In preparation for writing your request each member must log three hours of community service either with the organization or for a similar cause.

Your request does not have to follow the student government description, it is only a resource for your group.
Request Letter:
- 3 pages, double-spaced, 12pt. font, MLA in-text citations (when necessary).
- A brief (1 page max) overview of your organization.
- What change are you trying to make?
- How will your event impact the community?
- Event Schedule: 1 page additional to the Request Letter can be bullet points.
- When, where, and how will you promote your event?
- How many volunteers will you need and what will they all do?
Expense Report:
- Itemized list of all costs, revenues, and/or potential donations to charity.
Presentation:
- Should be 15 – 20 minutes.
- Every member must speak.
- Feel free to use PowerPoint, Prezi, Posters, Displays, or any materials you wish.
- Must include an interactive potion to elicit class participation.
